Red Eye Removal and Clarity Adjustment

This is a close up of the child's eye from the previous image. Most red-eye correction software would still leave her little eyes discolored, as shown in the middle. With my procedure, shown on the right, I am able to restore those eyes back to a more natural apearance -- even with the reflection of the flash. This is an artistic restoration, not an automatic correction. |

Older processed prints are not stable over time. The chemicals used in processing break down the paper and color pigments. If you have any valuable prints that are starting to look like this, you need to scan them. This print will continue to rapidly degrade until it is useless, but the digital scan is totally stable. Once in a digital form, whatever is left of the original color and contrast information can be restored. This type or correction is included at no extra charge for all photos I work with. I also return the original and modified digital files to you on an optical disk. |
